This is dried gourd strip. To make it fresh, rince them with cold water and soak them in the water (with pinch of salt) for 5-10minutes. Season them as you like. They are used variety for tying up Sushi parcel, cabbage rolls and for a filling sushi rolls themselves. It is a brilliant way of tying bundles of food, especially if they are to be simmered, as it is edible. (20g)

Dried Daikon (Turnip). The most populer way to cook: Wash with cold water and leave to soak for 45 minutes. Drain them and keep the water. Fry them with little oil (you can add carrots, beans and beef if you would like to) and add some soup stock and remaining water. When it boils, add some Soy sauce & sugar. Boil them until the water nearly goes. It will serve 5-6 people out of 1 packet. (50g)

How to cook
1. Add water(220g) little by little to Rice flour(250g), keep mixing.
2. Make balls (about 10g/45 balls)
3. Boil water in the pan and put one each in.
4. When balls float to the surface, scoop them out and put them in the cold water to cool down.
5. Enjoy with your favourite way. (with fruits, ice cream, azuki beans, syrup....)
