This puts you in the queue and payment is not taken untill harvest time A small area in the tea farm is setaside for this special tea, careful trimming during the autumn means ensures that all the new leaves come togther at the same time and are hand picked on the 43rd day from the start of Spring, everything must be picked on that day and hence why this is limited. This is a very long term tradition and is regarded as the highlight of the tea year and produces the highest quality tea for the whole year, just like a vintage wine.
